In short: loris.coach is a simple information page. Fonts and images are on its own web hosting in Switzerland. Only if you agree in the cookie prompt is Google Analytics added, which sets cookies. Without your consent there are no cookies and no tracking.

When you visit the site

When you open the site, the host Infomaniak processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the amount of data transferred, browser and operating system, and the page you came from. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it running securely. The data is kept in server log files at Infomaniak in Switzerland; I don’t analyse it to identify people and don’t combine it with other data.

Visitor statistics with Google Analytics

If you choose «Accept» in the cookie prompt, I use Google Analytics, a service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and Google LLC (USA). Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_…, lifetime up to two years) and records which pages you visit, for how long, where you came from, your device, browser and approximate location. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses. Data may be transferred to the USA; Google is certified under the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. I only see aggregated statistics, not individual people. Google deletes the data after the retention period set in Google Analytics, at the latest after 14 months.

The legal basis is your consent (for visitors from the EU, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you choose «Necessary only», Google Analytics is not loaded. Your choice is stored only in your browser (localStorage). You can change it at any time via «Cookie settings» at the bottom of the page; if you withdraw consent, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted.

When you write to me

If you email ciao@loris.coach, I only use your details to answer your message. Emails are stored in the mailbox at Infomaniak in Switzerland. I delete them once they’re no longer needed and no retention obligation applies.

Links to Instagram, LinkedIn and the apps

The site links to Instagram, LinkedIn and the apps under loris.coach but doesn’t embed any content from them. Only when you follow a link does the privacy policy of that site apply.

Your rights

You can ask at any time which data about you is processed and request its correction or deletion (Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, FADP). Just write to ciao@loris.coach. You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
